From Austin to NYC: Reflections on Our First Market & The Big Move!

Hi Limoers!

We are still catching our breath (and our hearts are still full!) after an incredible weekend at The Front Market.

This was a huge "first" for us. While we had a whirlwind one-day pop-up back in October during SXSW, this past weekend was our first time truly stepping out into the sun for a full two-day market. Out of over a hundred talented applicants, we were so honored to be selected to show our pieces physically for only the second time ever.

To Our Community: Thank You!

To the 50+ of you who took home a new Cherie Limoe accessory and the hundreds of you who stopped by just to chat; thank you. Meeting you in person has been the highlight of our year so far. Austin truly has some of the most stylish people we’ve yet seen! Your energy, your outfits, and your kind words reminded us why we started this journey in the first place. I decided to write some lessong from the Booth

  1. Beyond the sales, we walked away with something even more valuable: feedback. Being face-to-face allowed us to see which materials you loved touching, which colors caught your eye from across the lawn, and which products are officially "fan favorites."
  2. We also learned where we can grow. We know some of our newer concepts aren't quite "there" yet, and we’re heading back to the studio to refine them based exactly on what you told us.

The Next Chapter: Cherie Limoe Takes Manhattan

While we are so grateful for the Austin community that raised us, we have some bittersweet news to share.

By the end of May, Cherie Limoe is moving to New York City! We are officially taking our brand and our workshop to the Big Apple. It’s a huge leap for us, but we are so excited to bring our handmade statement pieces to the streets of NYC. Austin, you will always be a part of our brand's DNA, and we can’t wait to share our "East Coast era" with you all.

Deserved Shoutouts

  • My mom (@jessica) and sister Amelia (@ameliagonzz) and for travelling to Austin just for this weekend to help us with the pop up.
  • My great friend Anne Morgan (@annemorganhunter) for helping us set up and supporting our booth.
  • Our amazing friend Alejandra (@alecavecow) for these amazing moments with her photography.
  • A massive shoutout to The Front Market organizers for the incredible vibes and for making the entire process so seamless for us.

We’re Still Listening

As we pack up our beads, charms, and brooches, we want to keep the conversation going. What do you want to see from us in NYC? What products should we focus on next?

Drop us a comment or find us on Instagram and TikTok (@cherielimoe). We’re learning, we’re growing, and we’re so glad you’re coming with us.

With love and gratitude,

The Cherie Limoe Team
